ACCOUNTS/PERSONAL ASSISTANT

Ray White Taranaki is a boutique real estate company with a real diffference. Established in July 2009 and based in the old Bank of New South Wales historic building, Inglewood. We have a stunning office environment ensuring our people and our clients enjoy their work and doing business.

Debbie our current accounts/administrator is moving out of the region and we need to find a stunning replacement.

The successful applicant will need the following skills set:

  • people focused
  • eye for detail
  • computer literate
  • accounts & online accounting systems/background

NB: Experience with the Xero accounting system is a preference but not critical.

The role is part - time (initially for 20 hours per week)

Monday 10am - 3pm (5 hrs)
Tuesday --------
Wednesday 10am - 2pm (4hrs)
Thursday 10am - 2pm (4hrs)
Friday 8am - 5.30pm (7 hrs)

Flexibility of hours will be critical as these hours will change periodically.

Activities:

  • accounts payable/receivable
  • GST returns with accountant
  • Trust account reconcilliation
  • Advertising layouts via Campaign Track
  • Sale and Purchase contract writing
  • Newsletter and e - newsletter formation
  • Data entry and work with our property system MY DESKTOP
  • Property Management activities
  • General office duties

This is an exciting opportunity for the right person to join our hectic but fun work environment. We envisage that the role has growth in it with the possibility of hours being extended as we move our business forward. The role has significant variety ensuring everyday will be different, challenging and satisfying.
